In 1985, Louis-Paul Guitay saw his life transformed by an accident. Forced to undergo with long and difficult physical therapy sessions for cervical rehabilitation, he believed that he could help the physical therapist by mechanizing and automating his movement. There was just one step from the idea to the design for such a device.
At his home in Valence, Louis-Paul Guitay designed the first prototype of Cellu M6®. The effectiveness of the procedure quickly surprised all.
Between the rudimentary – yet no less effective – Cellu M6® of 1986 and the latest generation machines, there are more than 24 years of research and development.
LPG, with its increasing medical and scientific knowledge, grew from its original two employees to several thousand employees today in France and around the world.
